SELECTION: In choosing many of the items to stock in our e-store and small, farm based shop, we have tried to avoid the mainstream and common, after all, anyone can stop at the local Pet Smart or Tractor Supply! We have made every effort to find something unique for you and your four-legged friends. We have, however, opted to include a few of our perennial favorites, as well, in our product lines. If we don’t have it, ASK US! and we will do our best to try to find what you’re looking for. We also have a HUGE variety of items we can special order for you as well.
IN STOCK: We sometimes only stock a particular size or color, and what is usually in stock is marked with an "S" on the pages. All other items are special order. Some of the larger items like ramps, are shipped directly from the manufacturer. These will have "Drop Shipped" in their descriptions. Please allow extra time for these items to arrive.
FUNDRAISING / DONATIONS: In 4-H? FFA? or doing a fundraiser and need a donation for a raffle or that type of thing? Drop us an email, and we will see what we can come up with. We very strongly believe in supporting youth programs and the next generation of dog handlers and equestrians.
GOALS: Our main goal is to provide GREAT customer service, with small town, “everyone knows your name” friendliness, and a hard core effort to keep the prices affordable. We know cohabitation with critters gets expensive, so we make every effort to be competitive and keep prices reasonable. We are dog owners and equestrians ourselves, and test items out in our house and barn, on our own critters. If it didn't hold up to the "gator jaws" Labrador, Jack, or the cribbing Quarter/Arab mare, Gypsy, it isn't here. We aren't going to carry something we weren’t thrilled with ourselves. If it is something you are interested in and ask us about it, and we decided against it, we will honestly let you know why we opted to not carry the item. And there are several we were really excited about that just didn't stand up to our standards.
We have listed additional information on some items - like on some of the toys - how long they held up or if our dogs were interested or how it fit a horse. These "extras" will be in blue.SATISFACTION: Your satisfaction is guaranteed with us!! If you aren't happy with an item that has been used as the manufacturer had intended, then neither are we!! We will make things right, to the best of our abilities. And that determination is completely at our discretion. We want you to be thrilled with us and share your delight with all your family and friends. However, please note, our guarantee does not cover chew damage – with the exception of Lupine Products – those are covered EVEN if Chewed! Damage due to misuse, neglect or sheer stupidity is not covered. (i.e. Don't use a 1/2" cat leash on a 150# dog and expect it to hold up!) We are not liable in any way, shape or form for any accident, injury, loss of use, employment or death resulting in a product carried on this site. You bought it, you used it, YOU are liable. NOT us. (Gotta love the lawyer stuff - don't ya?!)
THE STORE: We have a small shop set up on our farm in Hebron, Indiana. Drop us an email or give us a call and we can set up a time for you to come and browse. Existing customers - once you have shopped with us, you will also have our farm's phone number. If you need something in an emergency, give us a call. (Like first aid supplies.) Due to the varying nature of training, and crops, we currently do not have set business hours. Remember - If you are in NW Indiana, we can happily get together and save on shipping. We make local deliveries for *FREE*. And at the store pick ups also can be arranged. Oh, and we pay the sales tax - not you!
ON-LINE SHOPPING: We offer on-line purchasing with payment made through Pay Pal. Hopefully, by the first of the year, the shopping cart will be completely entered and up and running on this site as well. HTML takes forever to build, and we are using a "Dummies" guide, so if is a slow and painful process!! So please be patient with us as we figure this out!!!
PayPal: We happily accept PayPal for both items ordered through the web site and items to be picked up at the farm. The PayPal address is our email, bowwowgiddyup@hotmail.com .
SHIPPING: We are happy to ship! We ship insured, delivery confirmed, United States Post Office Priority Mail. Several larger items are shipped from the manufacturer, and some of the big stuff we have to go UPS. If you opt to have something or several somethings shipped, please send us an email listing what you want and we can package it all up and send you back a total. That is the fairest we can come up with. Trying to do a universal shipping list just isn't fair since size and weight of items varies so greatly.
