Welcome to Bow-Wow, Giddy Up! We are a small family run shop supplying The Unusual and The Necessary for your canine and equine companions. While our primary lines are for dogs and horses, what is a farm with out the requisite barn cat?? So stop by the Kitty Korner and check out some neat things for your kitty companions too! We opened our doors originally as Broken Wrench Farm & Tack in 1997, carrying a variety of team roping equipment and show pony tack. A re-name, a decade and a significantly expanded product line later…..brings us to Bow-Wow, Giddy Up! Both of us come from families that were active in both dogs and horses. We have a wide range of interests and hobbies, but for some odd reason they all center around critters of some sort. Jim actively team ropes, occasionally calf ropes, and trains horses for roping. My focus is driving. I drive everything from a 42" Shetland pony to her 18 1/2 hand Belgian mare. There is a team of mini donkeys in the works as well. With 2 toddlers, my riding time is limited and equine showing revolves around them these days. I am active with my dogs, and am prepping my Aussie for agility, obedience and tracking. I come from a career retail background and loves getting to know the customers. Luckily I spent several years with a western wear store, and got a real education in their mistakes. Hopefully that knowledge will help our expansion succeed. The shop currently has varying hours, but Becky is happy to make arrangements. If someone is at the farm, we are more than happy to open the doors and let you browse. We are both thankful for our family's support as well. We have logged a lot of grandparent sitting hours with the expansion! We couldn't have done this without the help. We are very lucky to have some great friends that have helped with marketing the expansion, product suggestions and general support. And Most importantly, Becky's sister, Roberta, for being a great shopping partner. She is amazing - her ability to power browse trade shows is incredible! Jim & Becky Hoffman
